REVIEW GUIDELINES
FIRST AND FOREMOST,
YOUR BOOK MUST HAVE A NEW MEXICO CONNECTION
AND MUST STILL BE IN PRINT-
This means it doesn't have to be a new title but is still available for purchase.
AUTHORS
If you are not a New Mexico Author,
your books must have a significant presence in New Mexico.
Just having your character drive through Albuquerque on the way elsewhere is not significant!
To qualify as a New Mexico Author
you must be current resident or a former, long-time resident.
PUBLISHERS
Books submitted on behalf of your authors must meet one of the above criteria.
ILLUSTRATORS
New Mexico Illustrators or New Mexico Subject Matter
Your book is not GUARANTEED a positive review.
You WILL receive a FAIR review.
Books with negative reviews will have been read by two or three reviewers
and the resulting review will be civil in tone.
SUBMITTING YOUR BOOK
CONSTITUTES PERMISSON TO REVIEW!
Your books will not be returned but will be donated
to libraries and charitable organizations.
NOTE:
We do not review pornography and reserve the right
to refuse any book we deem inappropriate or unreadable.
WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR BOOK INCLUDE
Your Name, Address, Phone Number, and E-Mail.
Include the price of the book and your website (if applicable)
Note any awards your book might have received.
BOOKS:
When a reviewer has been assigned to your book, you will be sent an address to mail your book to.
Books submitted directly to Sabra at meetings must include a $2.50 postage fee.
1) Please include a web address if you would like your book linked to a particular place.
2) If I will not be able to find your title at Amazon, please include small .jpg of your cover. (effective 7/1/09)
